Earlier this month, our team took to the water at Stanley for the 24th Hong Kong Dragon Boat Short Course Races and paddled their way to the championship. This was more than just a win. It was a chance for our team to train, sweat, and race side by side, away from the usual backdrop of project timelines and construction sites. And in the end, we came home with the trophy.
Training Together, Working Together

The weeks leading up to race day were packed with early mornings and weekend practices. Set against the calm waters of Sai Kung, our teams gathered for six sessions to prepare for the competition. But we weren’t just training to win. We were learning how to move as one.

Anyone who’s worked in construction services knows the feeling. Success depends on more than individual performance. It’s about trust, timing, and staying in rhythm even when the pressure rises. Whether it’s managing a phased interior fit-out or coordinating with subcontractors during a building refurbishment, it all comes back to teamwork.
Voices from the Boat

Project Director Eric Wong captured the mood best.
“The vibes were absolutely fantastic with so much laughter, cheering, and high-fives all around. Seeing everyone bond, root for each other, and build that sense of community was truly heart-warming. Huge shoutout to our champions because you absolutely crushed it!”
Of course, paddling in sync on race day is not quite the same as coordinating a live site. But the spirit is familiar. The support, the focus, the way everyone commits to a shared goal, it reminds us of the kind of culture we try to build across all our teams.

Dragon boat racing, like construction, relies on coordination, endurance, and trust. You have to commit to the pace, listen to your team, and never break form. That’s what we train for on the water, and it’s how we build in the field.
Winning was a proud moment. But what mattered most was showing up for each other, keeping pace, and making every stroke count.
Thanks to everyone who joined us (teammates, friends, and family) for turning up and cheering us on. We couldn’t have done it without you. Whether we’re racing in Stanley or delivering fit-outs across the city, the principle stays the same: keep moving forward, and move as one.
